This lady right here doesn't even understand how much of a blessing she has been to me in the past 2 months and even now. When I found out my dad had passed, I didn't know what to do. I really felt lost.   Ms. Chantel Marsaw  helped me through the grieving process and even reaching things that I felt were impossible.   My dad knew her personally and I'm so glad he did. I understand the phrase "God makes no mistakes" so much better now.   Thank you so much for everything you've done and doing for me.   I love you.

A true mother is one who will pray for her children plus more.   She'll love you when you are right and punish you when you wrong.   A mother will never let her child know when she is unhappy.   That's a true mother. One who wakes up every Sunday Morning and have her child in a church.   My mother may be dead and gone but she left me 3 things: a prayer life, love, and many many other mothers like  Chantel Marsaw,  who I love dearly. Happy Mothers Day to all of my mama!!!!!!

I don't even know where to start because I feel like I will be leaving something important out. But to say this the best way I can, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to my PRIDE & JOY Chantel Marsaw. Chantel Marsaw, Chantel Marsaw, Chantel MARSAW! When I hear that name, it ring bells for me. When I hear it I get chills, its like I'm hearing a celebrity's name. My Mother is my best friend, my love, my everything. I said I wasn't going to make a paragraph but I want to express my feelings. I've seen this lady go through so much in one day, getting no sleep & no time to herself & still will get out of her bed to cook her children a meal. The shelters we've stayed in to be provided with a home. All the things you went through for us, the things you spent your money on for us, from the Barbies & Play Houses , to the Cellphones & Clothes. All the support, you gave me. Every Christmas program, you showed up, my first PTA Performance in my 3rd grade Step Group, you showed up, All the Thanksgiving & Christmas Lunches our school invited our parents to, YOU showed up! When I have a bad dream, though I'm not 6 or 7 anymore & though I'm afraid of worse things than just Freddie & Jason or the dark, you still always look out for me. When my self-esteem is lowered because of my insecurities, you always make me feel better. The time I was very sick & passed out, you were the one who laid me down and prayed over my head. The time I thought about taking my life away, you did all you could to refresh my mind after that. I've been sick half of this week & I promise you were the only person I wanted to be around. Nobody makes me feel better than my mom. I watched you raise us & the things that you went through has caused you to come a long way & that's why you're such a blessing to so many people. Don't take it personal, but I think I HAVE THE BEST MOTHER! & I promise I don't know how to repay you after 14 years & 4 &1/2 months. Any suggestions???

Just wanted to state publicly my admiration of your mission of helping out students who have lost a mother or father. I lost my mom a week before I graduated from college and I understand completely what they are enduring and their pain is even more devastating because they are still in high school. Just want to tell you that if I can help fill a void for any of them or provide any form of emotional support or encouagement for any of them,  God bless you my girl!

I can't sleep. Often times my mind wonder at night. I thought about my aunt Hannah and how much I miss her. So immediately you fell on my mind. Thought about our many Ram Circle playing days. Who would've ever thought you would become so ambitious and outpouring with the love you are sharing today?! Keep living your dream. I am soooo proud of you. I love you bunches!

Selfless - adjective
having little or no concern for oneself, especially with regard to fame, position, money, etc.; unselfish. I think this describes a woman I know,  Chantel Marsaw. If you know her, I am pretty sure you would agree. A caring spirit, she works so hard to support her family. She is a determined person with a big heart and I think that her goal to love children who have lost a parent(s) or sibling(s) and encourage them to chase their dreams is admirable.

For all great achievements…it requires time. Your season has arrived and it’s your TIME!!

You turned your can’t into I can and your dreams into plans. You are clothed with strength and dignity …you laugh without fear of the future.  With “It Still Takes a Village”…you have become someone’s reason to smile. We will never meet a more genuine and sincere person as you…a heart so big…it fills up the biggest room. Our God gave you a vision and you brought it to the forefront...for some of our babies...This village is where the majority of their love comes from. Trust and believe the love we feel is dear…and these children and the village are blessed to have you here.

We love you Chantel L. Marsaw!
